Green Earth Day Festival!
We will be hosting a music festival at Liberty Park on Saturday, April 21, 2007 as part of an Earth Day weekend with the SMSU Biology Club and Environmental Awareness Club (they will have activities on Sunday). Continue to return to learn more information! Or go here: Green Earth Day on MySpace
Buttons:
We make buttons. Ourselves, with a computer, a printer, and a handheld button making apparatus. We sell a variety of these buttons at our table and we also make buttons by request. Normally these beauties sell for $1, but if you belong to a club or organization and wish to resell the buttons, we are willing to negotiate a price.
Movies:
We show movies that you should see on occasion. This semester we have shown "Who Killed the Electric Car" and "Why We Fight." Stay tuned for announcements about our next films.
Speakers:
Sometimes we are organized enough. Last semester we brought Omoyele Sowore of the Global Exchange to campus to speak on "A Call for Peace: The Non-Violent Struggle for Human Rights and Justice in Nigeria." We might yet find someone for this semester.
